Swedish Massage sessions address stress and tension, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain. Gentle to vigorous, each session is tailored to your present needs.
Swedish massage is performed on a table and involves getting undressed and under a sheet. Oils are applied to your skin to soothe your nervous system. Swedish sessions can also incorporate deep tissue, reflexology and medical massage techniques, and each session is unique.

Shiatsu Massage
Shiatsu Massage incorporates the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) system of acupressure and 5-Element diagnosis (tongue, pulse, hara) to provide full body/mind integration and relief from stress and tension, anxiety, depression, and chronic pain.
Shitsu Massage is performed on a mat, while you are fully clothed in loose-fitting clothing, incorporating stretching, range of motion, and soothing touch designed to move Qi (lifeforce) through blockages.
I have completed advanced training in Shiatsu at the
Swedish Institute for Health Sciences - a leader in the Shiatsu field.

I offer a sliding scale for both Swedish and Shiatsu massage.

A sliding scale is a beautiful thing! It acknowledges that our economic circumstances vary and creates access by allowing people to pay at a level that works for them. Below is a guide for paying on a my sliding scale - but you are welcome to talk to me about what you can pay, regardless of your annual income.
